LOGIN PLUGIN "jquery.loginPlugin.js" is a small javascript plugin that allows you to add login box (with 4 different styles) to your web application in single line of code. Every web application needs login functionality to provide access to authentic users. Creating a login box and adding validation consumes lot of time, now just focus on your app by importing this plugin. I. TO CREATE A LOGIN BOX Usage: $('selector').createLogin(type[String], {options}[Object], selector_for_username_field(String), selector_for_password_field(String)); Description: Creates a login box in the specified DOM element with specified attributes. Arguments: type - Type of login box to be created, can be either "one-line" or "normal". By default it is normal. options - Various options to change the appearance and characteristics of login box. method : null, action : null, email : false, width : "auto", height : "auto", background : null, title : "Login", cancel : false, label : true selector_for_username_field - "name" attribute of username input field. By default the name attribute is "username". selector_for_password_field - "name" attribute of password input field. By default the name attribute is "password". II. ON SUBMIT VALIDATION Usage: $('selector').submitLogin([callback]); Description: Performs client validation on the values entered in the input fields and processes the form based on the callback/action attributes specified in createLogin function. III. TO DISPLAY A CUSTOM ERROR MESSAGE Usage: $('selector').displayCustomError(errorMessage[String]); Description: After performing your server side validations, the error messages can be displayed in this space by passing just the error message. IV: DESTROY THE LOGIN OBJECT Usage: $('selector').closeLogin(); Description: Call this function once you redirect to a different page to remove the login form.
